This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC motor with a NEMA 145 T-frame and WEG construction. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. Additional components include an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The unit is configured with an across-the-line starting option and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.81.
