This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration is rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The unit is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 324T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The assembly is configured with a standard coupler protected by a coupler guard and is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
