This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an ODP enclosure and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The motor uses a 284 JM frame style with feet, meets NEMA standards, and utilizes across the line starting. The unit is set for CCW rotation and complies with MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
