This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze slip-on shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump features a rear pullout design, allowing for service without disturbing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 575/60/3 PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for 40 °C ambient temperatures per NEMA standards. The unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
