This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 13-1/2" nominal bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided to allow for the installation of a filter, and pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pull-out design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor with a drip cover. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60/3 power supply and uses a 286 JM frame with feet. It incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard requirements. The top center-line discharge design simplifies piping layouts and supports self-venting of the pump. This unit meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.89.
