This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for servicing. The top center line discharge configuration assists with piping layouts and pump self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an ambient temperature rating of 40°C. The motor uses a 145 frame size in a JM style with feet. This unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements with a DOE PEI of 0.78. The starting configuration is across the line.
