This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and uses an across the line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 213 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The equipment operates in a 40 °C ambient environment and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.83.
