The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The impeller is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3.
This unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 213 T frame. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and uses an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump is configured for 40°C ambient operation, counter-clockwise rotation, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
