This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is constructed from cast iron. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, as well as a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 444 T-frame. It is configured for 380/60/3 power supply with a 50 °C ambient rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is premium efficiency and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This unit includes an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. The pump is rated with a PEI of 0.93.
