This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber accommodates fluid temperatures up to 225°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and provides center-line discharge for air venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 324 T frame. Power requirements are 230-460V/3PH/60Hz. The motor is configured for across the line starting and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The bearing frame uses greasable bearings for support. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
