This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps for filter installation along with suction and discharge pressure tappings. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in reducing piping strain.
This pump is configured with a 40 HP Baldor motor in a 286 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
