This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing and cover. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing of the internal components without disconnecting the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a JM motor frame style with feet. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a premium efficiency rating in compliance with MG1-12.55. The pump includes a no drip cover for the motor. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
