This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter and an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 225 °F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with Across the Line starting. The motor is mounted on a NEMA 256 T-frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is secured to a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This unit is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and has a PEI of 0.92.
