This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, with a temperature rating up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, a flush seal line tap, and AEGIS shaft grounding.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor features an ODP enclosure, a 40°C ambient rating, and meets premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards with a PEI of 0.86. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor and is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
