This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Power requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler to connect the motor and pump, and the assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
