This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps for filter installation.
This pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It operates at 3450 RPM and features a JM frame style with feet. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures, complies with NEMA standards, and meets premium efficiency MG1-12.55 requirements with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit utilizes standard counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.87.
