This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a NEMA 256 T-frame. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. This assembly has a PEI of 0.92 and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
