This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and incorporates flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and promotes self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 145 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and requires a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor includes a drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The electrical system utilizes across the line starting and functions in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The unit carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.78.
