This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction port and 8" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame and features a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft.
This pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor, configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH operation with across-the-line starting. The motor utilizes a NEMA 324 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard over the Woods coupling. It operates at 1150 RPM in a 40°C ambient environment.
