This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 284T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor provides premium efficiency and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump features a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA, and a Woods coupler for the drive connection. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This unit meets a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
