This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300°F clean water applications. The bearing frame assembly contains permanently lubricated sealed-for-life bearings.
This pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Power input is 230-460/60/3PH, configured for across the line starting with a CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.86 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
