This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. This unit is configured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is a 256JM frame style that includes feet. The unit meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, including the inclusion of AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with standard counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
