This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This unit is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP TEFC Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured for a 230/460/60/3PH power supply and uses a NEMA 286 motor frame with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This unit meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.93 and an HI energy rating of 7. It is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature.
