This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump design includes a dry shaft configuration with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while flush seal line taps accommodate filtration systems. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 254 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly has a PEI value of 0.89 and features a 40 °C ambient rating. The motor construction adheres to NEMA standards and does not include a drip cover.
