This close-coupled end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and cover with a stainless steel impeller. The mechanical design utilizes a dry shaft configuration with a bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The seal assembly comprises ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber, rated for 125 PSI without a wear ring. Integrated pressure tappings allow for monitoring at the suction and discharge connections, while flush seal line taps facilitate the installation of filters to protect the seal from non-condensable particles.
Powered by a 50 HP, premium efficiency, TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly integrates Aegis grounding and functions on 380-460V / 3PH power, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
