This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings and allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The assembly is powered by a 1-1/2 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. This unit operates on 230-460/60/3 power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is configured for across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a standard Woods flexible coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
