This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It is configured with a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. The internal components include a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal, comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the connected piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is mounted on a 326 JM frame with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The motor rotation is counter-clockwise.
