This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is designed for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 286T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, a coupler guard, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This equipment has a pump energy index (PEI) value of 0.97.
