This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The bearing housing uses sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame configuration. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. This premium efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.92.
