This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It features a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a 324 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. The pump assembly has a PEI of 0.92.
