This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. This unit is configured without a wear ring and includes greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182T NEMA frame style. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which is configured for across-the-line starting. This equipment meets a DOE PEI rating of 0.86 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
