This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The shaft is constructed of stainless steel and protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation in clean water up to 300 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 256 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the unit carries a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
