This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal comprising a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 215 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, with a 40°C ambient rating and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is installed on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler with greasable bearings in the bearing frame. This unit features CCW rotation and a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
