This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are included. The rear pullout design permits maintenance without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 324JM frame with feet for mounting. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3PH, and the unit includes a premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI rating of 0.93 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The starting configuration is across the line.
