This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections, alongside a grease-lubricated bearing frame.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 182T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly mounts on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a standard Woods flexible coupler. This equipment maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating and a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
