This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses an across the line starting option. It is mounted on a NEMA 215 T frame and secured to a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly operates within a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and the unit has a PEI of 0.88.
