This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for optional filter installation and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features an ODP enclosure and a 145 JM frame style with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and supports across-the-line starting. The motor is suitable for 40 °C ambient conditions. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
