This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The impeller has a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit includes a slip-on shaft sleeve for seal maintenance, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. The electrical input is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation. The top center line discharge design facilitates piping layouts and pump venting.
