This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections. The unit utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It is equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes a dry shaft to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 1 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and utilizes an ODP enclosure. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
