This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal is provided, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a bronze wear ring and flush seal line taps to allow for the installation of an optional filter to protect the seal from particles.
This pump is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor in a JM frame with feet. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit functions on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.85. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disconnecting the system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration assists with venting.
