This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve to assist in maintenance. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a top center line discharge and a rear pullout design, with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 40 HP Baldor motor in a 324 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover. The electrical configuration includes a power supply of 230-460/60/3PH and across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, follows NEMA standards, and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
