This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft construction to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. An EPT and ceramic mechanical seal is utilized, supporting an operating pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring. This pump provides center-line discharge for positive air venting, with pressure tappings located on both the suction and discharge connections.
This assembly utilizes a 125 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. The motor incorporates Aegis grounding and utilizes a 380-460V 3PH power supply. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
