This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly supports counter-clockwise rotation and does not include a wear ring.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor mounted in a NEMA 215 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH electrical input with across-the-line starting. The system includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This equipment is EISA compliant, featuring a PEI of 0.94 and an HI Energy Rating of 6.
