This base-mounted end suction pump integrates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft to maintain structural integrity during operation. The assembly incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to manage fluids at a pressure rating of 125 PSI. The construction includes a wear ring and provides suction and discharge gauge ports to monitor system pressure.
The motor is a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC model operating at 3450 RPM, utilizing Aegis grounding with a power supply of 380-460V / 3PH, achieving a DOE PEI of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect with 100kA SCCR and without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
