This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing temperature resistance up to 250°F. The pump assembly uses a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft during operation.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP motor, operating at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The Baldor motor features an ODP enclosure and is mounted on a NEMA 256T frame. The system includes a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements with a PEI of 0.9. The pump uses an across-the-line starting configuration.
