This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring. The pump casing is cast iron, and it utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 324 T-frame style, configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The assembly includes an across-the-line starting option, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
