This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid, and includes an easy-to-replace, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber for operation in clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features a rear pullout configuration for servicing, a top center line discharge, and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 213 JM frame style with feet and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for 40°C ambient conditions with CCW rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
