This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features integrally cast mounting feet.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 145 T frame and is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. This unit includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.86.
