This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly also incorporates greasable bearings to facilitate maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 256T NEMA frame. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH, with a 40°C ambient temperature rating. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a standard Woods coupler. The unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.93.
