This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F in clean water. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 100 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 365TS frame. The motor is configured for a 460/60/3 power supply and supports across-the-line starting. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
